My 5 Favorite Romantic Horror Movies

Don’t get me wrong, I am all about romance in relationships, but I severely dislike Valentine’s Day. It’s a made up holiday designed to boost jewelry, chocolate and flower sales, not to mention the pressure it puts on people to have a romantic partner. If I had my way we would just have a second Halloween, but since that will never happen, I watch romantic horror movies with my husband on February 14th instead.

Ahh yes, it’s almost that time again. A brand new year is rapidly approaching and I am actually excited for once about the new year that lies ahead. My Favorite Creepy Characters in Christmas Movies

It’s finally here! My least favorite time of year! Well…sort of, as I get older I find my self liking Christmas less and less but I hang in there every year because my kids expect me to be Clark Griswold and bring them the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny fucking Kaye every single year. The one thing I can count on keeping me sane adjacent is my favorite Christmas movies that have creepy characters in them.

Actually, several days before Thanksgiving the kids and I start watching turkey related terror films because we have several that we enjoy, and here are our top 3 that we actually watch on Thanksgiving day.

4 Ways To Celebrate Halloween Year Round

It’s a few days past Halloween, our candy hangovers are wearing off, the mild feeling of melancholy from scary movies not being on TV 24/7 has set in, and worst of all, the holiday commercials have begun appearing for “Black Friday”. For people like you and me that like to keep it spooky year-round, it can be a rough time, so I thought I would brainstorm some ideas to help you stay in the spirit of Halloween 365 days a year.
